EX Cute is the brand name of a line of original character dolls produced and sold by Azone International, as well as the name of the unit made up of the main characters.

The first prototype model was unveiled at Doll Show in January 2005, and the first series (which featured 5 characters) was released in December of the same year; the first wave featured Aika and Koron, with Chiika, Lien and Miu following shortly after, respectively in January, March and April 2006.

The first series featured the girls wearing their preferred brand: Snotty Cat (Koron), Wicked Style (Aika), Romantic Girly (Chiika), Angelic Sigh (Lien) and Blue Bird's Song (Miu).

Following the first release, more themes and characters have been added to the EX Cute universe, with two additional girls joining the main unit, Himeno in April 2008 and Riley (usually stylized as Raili) in April 2011, as well as the main girls' family members and friends joining the cast under the name EX Cute Family.
